奥田民生、さすらい

I am not quite sure where this cute little idea of mine actually emerged. I don’t even think that I had this one huge point in space and time where I told myself that I am doing this. All I can remember today are all these moments, continuously flowing and somehow seamlessly fitting into each other. One day, there is me, sitting in front of a screen and reading comments and tips on various routes. The other day, there is another me, desperately trying to understand the connections of various train lines in different cities. Another me, calculating the ticket prices. Me applying for visa, me actually buying the tickets, me standing in front of a Gantt chart printed on a gargantuously huge piece of paper, checking if I have taken care of everything (I didn’t), if I had enough money (I hadn’t), and if I can pronounce “Nice to meet you” in Russian and Mongolian properly.

I couldn’t.

But that wouldn’t stop me from taking the Trans-Siberian Railway anyway.

And that was only the beginning.

Well, welcome my dear friend. Enjoy a cup of tee and enjoy.

One random story after another.
